Happy 32nd!!!

Happy Birthday to me! We went out to celebrate my 32nd birthday with a group of friends and started out meeting at Carino's. It was delicious too! There were about 8 people that showed. A few couldn't make it and a few met up with us later in the evening, but for those that came, we had a great time and I thank those that came out to celebrate with me. It was fun!!!!
At Carino's Brad brought my gift in for me to open in front of everyone. The card was placed over the lettering on the box, so I couldn't tell where it was from, so I lifted the lid so that everyone else could see first, and all I heard was "ooooohh, ahhhhhhh, OMG" and knew that I would love whatever it was. So I opened my eyes and it was a COACH purse. I had looked at them before but couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of money. But really wanted one because I LOVE purses. So Brad went and picked one out for me and I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the style and color and all of that! It is wonderful! He did great!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the girls loved it too! :)
And then my friend Amy gave me a gift certificate to get my hair done, since she is my hairdresser, so that was awesome! Then when we went out my friend Lindsey bought me a drink! So it was a nice night!
I'm not exactly sure what the guys are doing here and why Abe is hiding behind the menu...

So after dinner we went to Oasis and just hung out to celebrated and stuff until about 1am and then came home. Thanks Maggie for watching the kiddos for us while we went out to celebrate. Without a sitter, we couldn't have gone! haha
Saturday Brad's aunt and uncle were in town and came over to celebrate with us because his aunt and I share the same birthday, so Sandy bought a cake for us to share and so we just cooked out and had cake and ice cream and stuff and watched the football game. Then Sunday we went to my parents house to celebrate with my family and ordered pizza and all of that. I got a gift card from my brother and some money from my parents. It was a great evening and we enjoyed spending time with them. It was nice and I will use the money for clothes most likely. :) And Haley and Zach got me a really sweet card which I loved. So it was a very nice birthday and again I appreciate everyone who helped me celebrate it! I'm 32! I can't believe it!
At Oasis- Thanks girls- It was fun!

Lubbock Day trip

We hadn't taken a little trip with the kids in a while, so we decided to get up and drive to Lubbock for the day. With us being off Friday it allowed us to get some stuff done and that freed up our Saturday so it worked out great. We left around 9:30 and went to the mall first. Their mall is so much better than ours. After a little shopping we went to eat at The 50th Street Caboose and then Haley and Zach played a few games and then we headed to their Kirkland's because it was calling my name. They are out in a little shopping center now and it's much larger and has a lot more stuff than the one in Midland. I could easily go on a shopping spree in there!!

So after Kirkland's we went to get our tickets at The Omnimax theatre to see some Underwater thing they had showing. It was pretty neat. It started playing and Haley said "Mama, are we moving?" I said, "No, the camera is moving so it looks like we are." So she thought that was pretty cool. Then Zach realized the same thing and looked at Brad and said "No, daddy, NO, I want out!" So I guess he thought it was a ride. lol. Poor baby.
Here's some pics of us waiting to go in.

We had a good time though and they kids were really good until we headed home and Zach was ready for a nap. He got a little fussy until he dozed off for a short time. But it was a nice little trip for us even though it was a tad on the chilly side!
*Notice mine and Haley's matching brown boots. ;)

Merry Christmas!!!!!!!

Christmas is finally here! We got up around 9am and actually went and woke the kids up. I went to wake Haley and patted her and said "Haley, guess what?" She started smiling and said "Oh, I bet Santa came!" She jumped up out of bed and started down the hallway. Brad woke Zach up and they both walked out of the room. We came into the living room and Haley immediatley saw a Barbie "Pet Vet" that Santa had left for her. Zach walked by the fireplace and heard something meow..... he looked towards the fireplace and saw a kitty sitting there. He said while pointing "Kitty?" And then Haley turned and just stared for awhile and then saw it.......... her Cuddling Kitty she had asked for. She ran to it and picked it up. Then sat it in the floor by her pet vet. She was SOOOOOO happy you could see the happiness on her face.

Zach got a Black and Decker workbench with all of the accessories. He LOVED the drill that it came with! Just check out how he started opening his gifts. How manly is that!

He got a bunch of trucks and some cars, some Mr. Potato head kits, his own laptop and some pj's of Disney's cars.

Reindeer food on Christmas Eve

The kids went out with daddy in the front yard to sprinkle some reindeer food (Oatmeal). I guess Haley thought bribing the reindeer to our house would increase her odds of getting the "Cuddling Kitty" she's been asking for. Haley made sure to sprinkle it all over the yard.
At 6:30pm we all went to the church for the Christmas service. My aunt Barbara and cousin Lindsey met us there too! I'm so glad they came and enjoyed this time with us. It's so nice to spend the holidays with family. I hope they enjoyed the service.

We left the church and went to look at a few Christmas lights. I don't know if it was just me, but it appeared that everyone was lazy this year. Us included. We didn't put lights up this year. We were just really busy every weekend, with 2 birthday parties on different weekends and 3 Christmas parties, we just didn't have time to put them up, then when we did, it was 2 weeks before Christmas and who puts lights up that close to the holidays? Not us. Oh well, it was one less thing we had to take down this year.
So we looked at the lights that were up then came home and ate chili that Sandy had made. The kids then opened their presents from Maggie (Sandy) and here are the pics. The kids loved their toys from her. Haley got a medical play kit with a bed and accessories and a My little pony baby.

Zach got a "My 1st Scooter" which he loves!!!!!!!

Thanks Maggie for the delicious chili and for the great gifts. The kids loved them!
Hope everyone has a Blessed Christmas holiday!

Christmas at The Stallings

We went to my grandparents house Wednesday evening to visit with family and open gifts. It was nice to see everyone and the kids enjoyed opening presents for the first time. This evening marked the first night of opening gifts!
My grandparents got the kids some really neat gifts. Haley got a Little Mommy doll that crawls and stuff, a princess dress up outfit and a set of bead bendable things. Zach got a tricycle. Memaw got Haley a little tiger that she can feed and Zach got a remote control hummer. Jane & Maddy got them each a view finder with different pictures to insert. The view finders today are a little different than the ones we all grew up with. These are pretty cool!
It's always nice to get together with family around the holidays and just visit. It was nice and we had a great evening. Thank you all for the gifts and Lindsey and Seth, sorry we missed you guys.

Me and my princess

This was just a picture of me and Haley that I took while we were at her Dr's apt. I took her in because she had been throwing up with the really bad stomach bug. In the picture though, you can't tell that she had been sick for about two days. But we got her some phenegren cream to rub into her wrists in case she gets sick again. :)

Isn't she beautiful??

Christmas Party with friends

Our friends Lindsey and Isaiah had a Christmas party at their house for all of their friends and family. It was a formal dress up party and turned out fantastic. It was open bar and was served by a guy from the Midland country club. We had a great time and the food and drinks were great too! I especially liked getting dressed up and seeing my handsome husband in a suit!

It was nice spending time with our friends. They have a beautiful home and the party turned out great! Here's just a few pics!Me and my handsome husband

Dear Santa...... I've been good

We took the kids to the Midland mall to see Santa. It wasn't all that crowded either which shocked us for being the weekend. Haley and Zach got right up in his lap and Haley told him that she wanted a Cuddling kitty for Christmas. It's a motion scensored kitty that moves and meows just like a real cat, but it's a lot less messy!

Here's the kids with Santa!

Haley's Christmas tree 2009

Here's Haley's tree that we put up in her room. I went the day after Thanksgiving to Big Lots and bought this little 4ft PINK pre-lit tree that they had for $12. Then bought the glittered ornaments and ribbon from Dollar Tree. So for less than $20, she has her own very girly little tree in her room!

Makeover anyone??

Haley came down with a bad stomach bug that lasted about 24 hours and she didn't feel very god for a few days. As a special treat I let her pick out a toy when we went to the store and she chose a play makeup set. So we got home later that day and I got busy doing something and she went into her room to play. She then came out and said "Mama, look I did my makeup!" So I turn around and this is what I saw.....................................So what makes her think that eye shadow looks like this?? I'm not sure. Hopefully she doesn't think my eyes look like this. haha
But I do have to hand it to her. At least her eyes match each other.
Also, notice her lips and all of the lip gloss she put on. She just cracks me up sometimes!!
So if anyone wants to schedule a makeup facial with Haley, just let me know!
